The Juan Maclean

     A Labor Day groove laid down by masters of electronic rhythms, The Juan Maclean, took place this past Saturday at The Echo in Los Angeles, CA. After a splendid Cobb salad at the Bright Spot Diner and a long wait outside the venue on Sunset Blvd (with police search helicopters flying around), the music started. Pole opened up with iBook managed mixing and served as the soundtrack to my Stella draft consumption. Then, after a somewhat awkward changeover of equipment with the crowd growing impatient, the trio of The Juan Maclean delivered. Their set inspired me to move, bounce, and slide, my feet carving an intricate pattern of bar sludge around me. Check out the vids below.
