Fare Thee Well “The O.C.”

Thank you for four seasons of addictive teen drama, temporarily filling the void that “Saved By the Bell” left behind. It ended up looking more realistic than “Laguna Beach,” and less bitchy than those dopes over at “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” The finale contained oodles of endearing cheese, the kind I eagerly soaked up intially in PA and through my time here in Cohen-county neighbor, “The L.A.C.”
Julie, you were that manipulative step-mother I never had. Sandy, you were that Jewish liberal mentor missing from Seton Hall Prep. Marissa (Mischa), you were that token gorgeous untalented overrated babe, and you pulled it off flawlessly. Oliver, I don’t know if I’ve ever detested a TV character more than you. Ah, memories. I wish Fox didn’t salt Josh Schwartz’s game.

Billboard from the 2nd season.

The Bait Shop, where Seth worked and all the kickin’ bands used to play in Redondo, I mean Newport.
