Yo La Tengo breezed through Hollywood at the Avalon for their fall tour on October 15th. The veteran Hoboken, New Jersey based trio put on a solid show fresh on the heels of their most recent release, “Popular Songs.” YLT features a broad array of sounds, from spacey jams to raw screeching garage punk to latin beats to mellifluous vocal harmonies. There isn’t a live show out there that can offer such high quality for all of those sounds. While they are diverse, YLT makes it all work through the common thread of their unique style.
A note about the Avalon: Get there early for their shows. They try to squeeze a double feature of rock show followed by dance club night into one night. I got there a little later than desired, so watch out for those greedy fart faces and show up on time.

Thanks for your article. I also think laptop computers have gotten more and more popular right now, and now tend to be the only form of computer included in a household. It is because at the same time actually becoming more and more affldraboe, their computing power keeps growing to the point where these are as powerful as desktop computers from just a few years back.
