The Troubadour’s “Free Mondays” featured To Live and Die In LA this week. As recent transplants to SoCal from Portland, OR, one might be confused when hearing their name. Are they “held in some invisible vice and can’t get away, to live and die in LA,” like Wang Chung? Or do they want “to live and die in LA; it’s the place to be; you’ve got to be there to know it,” and now they know it like TuPac? Either way, TLADILA delivered head-bobbin’ rock and I want to see them play again, leading the bill.
     Unfortunately I missed these guys before The Dandy Warhols two nights earlier. Fortunately I was able to redeem the misfortune rather quickly.
