I’ve lived in southern California for the last 16 months, almost to the day, and I just felt an earthquake for the first time this morning. Fortunately it was only a 2.6, but the experience was startling and exciting nonetheless. I was about to get up for work when it happened, as if Mother Earth was shaking me to get out of bed. At first I wasn’t sure if I really felt it or if it was a dream or whatever. But no, as was confirmed for me by Mother Internet.
