After many years of living within proximity of the Summer X-Games (Philly and Los Angeles), I finally made it over to the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA to check out the Skate Park competition. It was quite a scene, especially with the rally cars racing simultaneously during the afternoon. There were new stars and legendary favorites. Tony Hawk even made an appearance, taking several practice runs on the incredible course. It was the first time that the X-Games used concrete for the park (past years only used wood). Rune Glifberg defended his title, with Andy MacDonald coming in second (pictured upside down here).
There was a Legends contest to cap off the X-Games 15 weekend, and I got to see my favorite skater from back in the day . . . Steve Caballero. Sick!
My hat is off to your astute command over this toaro-bipvc!
