I recently acquired a Prusa i3 MK3 3D printer. First impressions support that it might be the best money I’ve ever spent. The unassembled kit set me back about $800 with shipping. The assembly was very easy due to the good design and clear, thorough instructions. It didn’t take that long (~8 hours) and could have been shorter if I wasn’t as methodical and patient. I’m glad I picked the unassembled option because now I know more about the printer and am better equipped to troubleshoot any problems. The initial prints have been fantastic. It’s incredible easy to remove prints from the build plate (way better than my previous experience with the Zortrax M200). I’m looking forward to using this machine a ton and seeing where it takes me.
